Italian Meatloaf

My Meatloaf recipe is worth sharing, especially if you are an Oatmeal lover.

Mixture ready for hamburger

In a bowl, mix up a finely chopped large sweet onion, 3/4 cup Pasta sauce, 3/4 cup Oats, 2 beaten eggs, 4 finely chopped cloves garlic. Mix lightly. Then add 1 and a 1/2 pound hamburg. Mix it together with your hands and pat into a loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Then pull it out only to top with a layer of pasta sauce.

Bake for another 15 minutes.

I have a loaf serving dish that was given to me as a gift. It’s the perfect size for anything baked in a loaf pan.

Let the finished meatloaf cool a bit and then place onto a serving plate. My meatloaf looks delicious.

Try slices between bread for a sandwich. It’s also wonderful with gravy and mashed potatoes. You can cut it up into slices for freezing. It’s wonderfully versatile.
