Washed Canvas Aprons
Sometimes you are working and need an apron that has added strength. You are doing tough work and you don’t want to worry about your clothes. But Canvas can be hard to wear, it can be very stiff and uncomfortable to move in for a long time period.
We took a light weight canvas and washed it in hot water. It came out just as strong but with its sizing gone, it is soft and drapes nicely. We paired it with standard twill tape for ties. It’s a nice look, soft to wear but very tough.
With an awesome fabric on the table, we can begin the fun of crafting shapes; long, short, plus size and regular. And of course they will all have big pockets. We all have stuff to carry and work to do.
